Planting & Harvesting

The coffee trees are planted at distance of 1.50m between one another, and it is given the necessary care for the plant to bear a good fruit.

It takes up to 3-4 years for the plant to bear fruit. The fruit, called the coffee cherry, turns a bright red color and is ready to be harvested. The ripe coffee cherries are picked by hand and transported to the processing plant.
